Newland School for Girls

Newland School for Girls is currently an 890 place secondary school. The existing school building is being remodelled and refurbished to provide places for 750 girls.

The school will stay on its current site, and will continue to have a city-wide catchment. Work is expected to get under way in July 2012 with a planned completion by September 2013.

Construction will be carried out by the Esteem Consortium according to designs from _Space and will cost £11.5 million.
